I want to talk to you today about something that's been on my mind in the LGBT community. I want to start off by saying that I'm not against the concept overall. That said, there's a lot of cancelling people do before they even consider hiring a trans actor.
When it comes to trans actors and putting them in trans roles, I'm all for employment of trans people. I'm tired of seeing cis people have trans stories that are done through a cis gaze, which only ever allows you to see what a cis person thinks a trans person is supposed to be like.
