Gay Couple's Duet Brings Kelly Clarkson to Tears on 'The Voice'

“In a time in this country when it is so divisive, this is such a beautiful thing."

This week on The Voice, singing duo Adam and Jerome — aka OneUp — impressed judges Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Blake Shelton with their rendition of the Spinners’ “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love." They then revealed that they're actually a couple who fell for each other after becoming singing partners.

“In a time in this country when it is so divisive, this is such a beautiful thing," said Clarkson, moved to tears when the couple shared their story and brought their families out on stage with them. "It is proof that in this country, love is limitless. It’s the most beautiful thing that has happened to me this season.”

The Voice airs Monday on NBC.
