Miley Cyrus is coming to the Black Mirror universe!

The "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" singer sat down for an interview with Howard Stern and while chatting about the wildfires that destroyed her Malibu home and her latest projects, Cyrus revealed her guest role on an upcoming episode of Netflix's futuristic sci-fi anthology series.

"The minute I say I never want to do something again, all of a sudden, there I am," said Cyrus. "I'm really actually excited for everyone to watch the 'headshaking project.'"

She couldn't share details on the plot of the episode, but she did say the project helped her handle the destruction of her home.

"There's a lot of dimension to it, and actually it was while the devastation of Malibu was happening, and it was a really weird learning experience for me, because I was so far from home and the show is already really dark, and it's already kind of eerie when you're there the whole time," she said. "But I learned a lot about myself and I think I was able to kind of use that and put that into it."

The 26-year-old was hesitant to return to acting, but dived headfirst into the project. "I hate everything, but it was the first time I've left somewhere feeling really proud of my work. But you know if I like it that might mean it's horrible."

Black Mirror has been heralded by queer fans for its LGBTQ representation and its gayest episode, "San Junipero," even won an Emmy back in 2017. Earlier this month, Netflix cryptically announced via Twitter that Black Mirror: Bandersnatch would premiere on December 28, but the tweet was quickly deleted and the date was never confirmed.

Will Cyrus appear on likely-soon-to-debut season 5, or for another project a bit farther off into the distance?
