If you haven't already binged Netflix's rebooted Queer Eye series, you have some serious catching up to do.
The series has been praised as heartwarming, empowering, and for sharing powerful messages on love and unity, particularly episode four, 'To Gay Or Not Too Gay.'
In the episode, we meet AJ, a "masculine" gay man living in Atlanta, Georgia whose fear of appearing too feminine has held him back in life. He's out to his friends but hasn't come out to his family for fear of not being accepted.
Cue the new and improved Fab 5. Karamo, Bobby, Tan, Jonathan and Antoni makeover AJ's lofty apartment, show him how to dress confidently, and even teach him how to grill vegetables. Somewhere along the way, AJ gains the confidence to be his authentic self and come out to his stepmom.
During the scene, AJ chokes up over his words and the flood of emotions as he comes out washes over viewers at home, sending gay men across the globe into fits of tears right there with him. Luckily, a mother's love prevails, and after the two wipes the tears of the moment away, AJ promptly introduces her to his boyfriend Drey.
It's one of the most unforgettable moments of the series, and earlier today, Queer Eye announced an even happier ending on Twitter!
