Megan Rapinoe Is Headed to 'The L Word: Generation Q' and We're READY

Is there anything she hasn't done this year?
2019 has been the year of Megan Rapinoe, but she’s not done yet.
The soccer star is going to be making a guest appearance on the third episode of The L Word: Generation Q tomorrow on Showtime!
The show’s official Twitter account teased the appearance by letting fans know Alice would be having a special guest on her talk show in the world of Gen Q.

Alice's last guest was none other than Bette Porter, who is running for Mayor of Los Angeles this season. But having her on air caused a bit of drama between our fave bisexual talkshow host and the network, who wants her show to be more drinking games and embarrassing anecdotes than real conversations about real issues.
But Alice isn't one to be bowled over, and Rapinoe embodies exactly the kind of person Alice would want to interview if her talk show were a real thing — smart, queer, and absolutely unafraid to get real.
So fans were quick to figure out the sports champ might fit the bill for Alice's next guest.

Leisha Hailey, who plays Alice, was quick to reiterate the good news and share this excellent behind the scenes photo with us:
It’s been a busy year for Rapinoe, who helped lead the US women’s soccer team to another World Cup Championship, fought for equal pay for the women’s team, got into a very public fight with President Trump, and was named Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year. But even as the year began coming to an end, she still took the time to endorse Elizabeth Warren for President and, as we are about to see, pop into The L Word to become part of its modern day canon.
