Clothing company Diesel took to Twitter to find the faces of its newest campaign, Diesel Reboot, reports BuzzFeed. The diverse cast of 20 models of varying ages, identities, and sizes, will start appearing in Diesel ads in the September issue of Vogue.
Diesel's fashion director, Nicola Formichetti, asked the brand's fans on Tumblr and Twitter to show the company the kinds of people they wanted to see rebooting Diesel. And as it turns out, what the people want is a diverse cast of characters, including androgynous female male model Casey Legler, and sexy, real-sized grafitti artist Michelle Calderon.
"I wanted to find people who reflected the diversity of the creative community today and not just the typical model," Formichetti told Women's Wear Daily. "I wanted the campaign to showcase a variety of characters, people who are beautiful in their own unique way."
Well, we think she's certainly achieved that. Check out the images of Legler, a SheWired favorite, and Calderon below.
