Today weekend anchor Jenna Wolfe, who came out on the air in March while also announcing that she and her partner, fellow NBC foreign correspondent Stephanie Gosk, were expecting their first child, welcomed that little bundle of joy to the world on Thursday, reports Today.
Wolfe, who said she and her partner played several rounds of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to decide who would carry the child, gave birth to Harper Estelle Wolfield Gosk on Aug. 21 at 7:31 p.m. The newborn weighs seven pounds, 13 ounces, according to Today.
Gosk tweeted the above photo Thursday evening, with the caption "First pic. We couldn't be happier. Thanks for all the great messages."
Wolfe herself tweeted an adorable photo of the newborn later Thursday night, noting that she "fell madly in love with Harper Estelle tonight," and thanking supporters for their well wishes.
Congratulations to the happy couple and new moms!
