News that Naya Rivera had been unceremoniously fired from Glee flooded the Internet last week, but spokespeople at the show's network Fox say it isn’t so.

"There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show," the Fox wrote in a statement released to The Associated Press this weekend. "She remains under contract to Glee."

Several outlets reported that Rivera (Santana) has been written out of the season 5 finale of Glee after reports of an on-set feud with co-star Lea Michele (Rachel). 

US Weekly initially reported that there was a “major altercation” on set on April 15th but apparently, that feud escalated to include members of the show’s production team.

With Fox’s statement that Rivera is still under contract we’ll just have to wait to see what happens next for Glee’slesbian cheerleader turned singing diner waitress.
