Can we truly even begin to explain the"Whiskers R' We" sketch on this week's Saturday Night Live guest starring Charlize Theron? That hair. That sweater. Those accents. Charlize playing a a painfully socially awkward cat lady with a massive crush on Kate McKinnon's somehow slightly less socially awkward cat lady may actually rank among one of our favorite performances she's ever given.
Even better, Kate McKinnon's vividly poetic kitten descriptions provide some of the best writing on television today. And last but certainly not least, the 4 minute sketch is crawling with actual, adorable little kitties. Now this is a brand of late-night SNL madness we could watch over and over (and over and over) again. Can we get these two back every week?
