Senator Marco Rubio, a young Presidential contender from Florida, did an interview with Face the Nation on Sunday where he touched on important topics for the upcoming Presidential race such as climate change and, of course, same-sex marriage.
Watch the first half for a bit of classic Republican climate change denial, or skip to :45 for your daily dose of contradiction. Get this: Rubio believes that gay people are born that way and that for “the vast and enormous majority of people” sexual preference is not a choice.
Apparently, being born that way doesn’t mean you get the same constitutional rights as people who were born straight. Is this a step in the right direction, or is this admission empty without the politics to back it up?
