We can't see the full interview until it hits shelves on August 18 (boo), but Marie Claire has given readers a sneak preview (yay) which has really whet our appetites here at SheWired. From genderfluidity and nudity to her thoughts on Taylor Swift's latest violent music vid, Miley's on her usual top form. Those Hannah Montana days sure do seem a lonnnnnng time ago.

6. "Getting more money, having more hits, being the lead in the movie—those things might stimulate you, but they don't make you happy. I've experienced it all already, and I'm telling you firsthand, it doesn't."
Miley might have megabucks, but you only have to look at her Instagram to see her having ALL THE FUN with just paint, baking ingredients, games, her dogs, her girl and a few friends.
5. "I don't really stress too much about being out there. There's nothing left to catch me doing. You want to hack my e-mail so you can find my nude pictures? I'll just fucking put them up."
You can't really argue with this. Some might say Miley should tone it down, but she seems to be having fun and she's not hurting anyone. Except the odd Hannah Montana fan who just cannot let go.
4. "There is so much sexism, ageism, you name it. Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he's cool. I do it and I'm a druggie whore."
Yep - there's way too much to call out in terms of double standards in the music biz. Miley acts out and she's attention-seeking. A guy does it and it's edgy.
3. "I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns."
Miley responds to Taylor Swift's video for Bad Blood, which is widely suspected to be inspired by Swift's feud with Katy Perry. The video features a star-studded cast including Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Hailee Steinfeld, Cindy Crawford, Mariska Hargitay, and Ellen Pompeo carrying guns and attacking one another.
2. "I feel like a 15-year-old boy trapped in the body of a 22-year-old girl."
Miley speaks out candidly about genderfluidity again, following an eloquent performance in her recent Paper mag interview. Earlier this year, Miley launched the Happy Hippie Foundation to help LGBT, homeless and other vulnerable youth.
1. "A lot of us are born into some shit, you know what I mean? Lately, I've been talking a lot about my being gender-fluid and gender-neutral. And some people snarl at that. They want to judge me. People need more conventional role models, I guess. But I just don't care to be that person."
And again! To round up with a special treat, here's Miley performing a cover of the Replacements' Androgynous alongside rock superstar Joan Jett and trans anarcho-punk-folk legend Laura Jane Grace. Just wow.
