Kelly McGillis, who came out as a lesbian late in life right here on SheWired.com, will be back on the big screen where the beautiful actress belongs, in 2012.
Top Gun, the number one film of 1986, which starred a young Tom Cruise and McGillis, will reportedly return to theaters in 3-D for a special 2012 re-release.
Soon, fans will be able to enjoy Maverick, Goose, Iceman, and McGillis in their prime, as Legend3D says its in the process of converting the high-flying action. Legend3D already screened a 3-D version of the “Danger Zone” sequence in Amsterdam over the weekend. The company's CEO told the Hollywood Reporter that Paramount is “planning to release it in 3-D in early 2012.” But Paramount has not confirmed the rumor.
Here’s hoping we see the boys riding the highway to the Danger Zone in 3D with McGillis and Meg Ryan, in 3-D soon.
