Ellen DeGeneres had a minor health scare Monday morning, which resulted in paramedics being called to The Ellen DeGeneres Show set. She says she wanted to thank all the people who cared so much about her well-being – including TMZ.
She starts off the video by reminding the audience that she likes to tell them what is going on in her life, “because TMZ is also telling you what’s going on in my life, so I’ll tell you at the same time that they’re telling you.”
She woke up Sunday night with feeling as though something heavy was on her chest. Ellen clarifies, “It turns out it was a cat, so I moved it.” However, there was still a feeling of tightness. “There was another cat under that cat – there were two cats on my chest.”
Once she arrived at the Warner Bros lot on Monday, and still felt the tightness, she decided to have it checked out just to be safe. “The paramedics were strippers that I had called, and so that’s how the rumors got started,” Ellen joked.
