For Downton Abbey fans who’ve been longing to spend more alone time with their favorite characters, Vulture has devised the ultimate plaything in the form of Downton Abbey paper dolls!
Among the paper dolls available are, of course, Maggie Smith’s Dowager Countess, which includes “an assortment of emotions” in the form of “pleased,” “eye-rolling,” “judgmental” and “sneering.”
Vulture’s paper dolls also offer the “Conspiring Action and Evil Playset” that includes Mrs. O’Brien and Thomas and an evil cape, evil mask and evil soap (I won’t give away the significance of the soap for those of you who’ve only recently gotten on the Downton Abbey bandwagon).
The paper dolls also include Matthew and Mary in the “Even More Sexual Tension” set.
And while Vulture’s entire set is nothing short of brilliant the Sybil Crawley “With Female Empowerment Accessories” is the one we’ll be breaking out the most at SheWired, with Sybil’s feminist accoutrements like her NOW tee, Rosie the Riveter poster and her copy of Simone de Beauvoir’s The Second Sex.
Notably missing from the paper dolls are Elizabeth McGovern’s endlessly understanding Cora and the Jan Brady of the bunch – middle sister Edith but perhaps Vulture is working on those!
