There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our favorite shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because…
In the May 2012 edition of Allure, Debra Messing (Smash), Leslie Bibb (GCB), Taraji P. Henson (Person of Interest), Morena Baccarin (V), Heidi Klum (Project Runway) and Maria Menounos (Extra) posed nude – except for a few strands of diamonds – for the annual “The Naked Truth” issue.
The ladies were photographed in black and white by Patrick Demarchelier. In addition to baring it all for the shoots, the lovely ladies of TV held nothing back in their interviews.
Klum revealed the importance of gay men in her life: “Klum paused, and then made the universal tounge-moving-rapidly-in-cheek motion that signifies blowies. She explained what she's learned (off the record, of course).”
Messing, who is 43, revealed her decision to pose nude came from self-acceptance: "Once you have a child, once you pass 40, you have a different relationship with your body," she said. "I love my body in a way I never have before."
Bibb went on a four-day juice cleanse and did a body scrub session at a Korean spa pre-photo shoot: "Everybody's naked there, and I don't mind," she said. "But I'm like a cat with a feather anytime I see a boob job. I can't look away."
Henson, 41, revealed she parades around naked all the time: "My friends won't be surprised by this shoot," Henson said. "Whenever we go to the beach, I'm like, 'Is this a nude beach? Can I take my top off?'"
Even better, Henson is nude a lot of the time at home in New York City, despite having floor-to-ceiling windows without curtains says says: "I know some idiot has a telescope, so I always wave," she said. "He's going to be pissed when I move."
