Last Sunday’s episode of The Good Wife offered just about the hottest girl/girl sex scene on network television between bisexual investigator extraordinaire Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and FBI Special Agent Lana Delaney (Jill Flint).
Now, AfterEllen got the lowdown on just went down none other than Flint (pictured right) herself. In an interview with AE Flint explains that the sexy scene, which The Good Wife showrunners Robert and Michelle King dubbed “the genital manipulation” scene, was work shopped for nine hours with Panjabi and the director.
“You know I have to credit Archie on this one,” Flint told AE. “She looked at it and she really took the time and she saw an opportunity to expand on the relationship between Kalinda and Lana.”
Flint also clarified just what kind of work shopping went on with during those nine hours.
“Yep, nine hours, you know, of conversation and work shopping and choreographing and rehearsing the crap out of it to make it so good on so many levels,” Flint said. “And I really appreciate that she wanted to take the time for it. I think it also shows another side to her character, so it was good.”
Regarding whether or not she thinks Kalinda and Lana could ever take whatever it is they have for each other to the next level Flint said, “You see the way Kalinda is with other characters: She gets what she wants out of them and she's smart, she's mysterious, she's sexy, she's cunning and I think that's what Lana admires and loves about her so much. But I don't see them ever, as of now, getting together to cohabitate.”
