The schedule for this year's Comic-Con is out, and July 12 to 15 is going to be a very full weekend. There are all kinds of workshops, artist spotlights, seminars, lecures, Q&A sessions and more. (Be sure to check the full schedule from Comic-Con)
Luckily for all you TV fans heading to San Diego's Convention Center, The Hollywood Reporter has posted a list of just the TV-related panels happening each day. We figured we would let you know when the really not-to-be-missed (aka, those with creators and stars of shows featuring strong leading ladies, or just ladies we love) panels are happening so you can be sure to attend:
Thursday, July 12:
6:00 pm - Nikita (The CW), Room 6BCF
The panel will feature Nikita stars Maggie Q, Shane West, Lyndsy Fonseca and Executive Producer Craig Silverstein, and include an exclusive video presentation.
Friday, July 13:
12:30 pm - Firefly (Science Channel), Ballroom 20
The 10-year anniversary panel will feature Joss Whedon, writer Tim Minear and the crew of the Serenity as they reunite for the first time - with special surprises and Science Channel giveaways.
5:45 pm - Spartacus (Starz), Room 6BCF
Showrunner for the Lucy Lawless-starrer Steven S. DeKnight (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will join stars Liam McIntyre and Manu Bennett for the show's last trip to Comic-Con for a panel with surprise appearances with footage of the final season of Spartacus: War of the Damned.
Saturday, July 14:
2:00 pm - Alphas (SyFy), Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Alphas has yet to announce which cast members will be featured in the panel to discuss the show's new season but this is one sci-fi show to watch.
4:00 pm - Shameless (Showtime), Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Consulting producer Mike O'Malley will moderate the panel of William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Justin Chatwin, Jeremy Allen White, and Exectutive Producer John Wells as they reveal the top five fan favorite moments from the past two seasons.
4:30 pm - True Blood (HBO), Ballroom 20
The panel will include Alan Ball, Anna Paquin, Rutina Wesley (who plays LGBT Tara who was recently turned vampire), Deborah Ann Woll, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Nelsan Ellis, Ryan Kwanten, Jow Manganiello, Christopher Meloni, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, and Sam Trammell.
5:00 pm - Glee (Fox), Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Lea Michele, Jenna Ushkowitz, Naya Rivera (who plays the sassy lesbian Cheerio Santana), Cory Monteith, Darren Criss and Kevin McHale will join Executive Producer Brad Falchuk to discuss last season, including the shocking conclusion.
8:15 pm - Lost Girl (SyFy), Room 6BCF
The panel will feature Anna Silk, Kris Holden-Reid and Ksenia Solo along with Executive Producer Jay Firestone and Emily Andras to answer fan questions and discuss behind-the-scenes action from the set.
Sunday, July 15:
2:15 pm - Buffy the Vampire Slayer: 20th Anniversary, Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Stars of the TV series Nicholas Brendon and Clare Kramer, editor of Season 8-9 comics Scott Allie, writer Jane Espenson, illustrator Georges Jentry, original Buffy from the 1992 film Kristy Swanson, and surprise guests celebrate 20 years of not being a damsel in distress.
3:30 pm - Buffy the Musical "Once More, With Feeling" Screening, Room 6BCF
Audience participation - singing, dancing, etc - is a must!
