Out comics Erin Foley and Tig Notaro joined the likes of Aisha Tyler, Lizzy Caplan and Annabeth Gish and Jason Alexander, among others, to read “real quotes from public figures about women’s reproductive health.”

Comments from clueless public figures about “legitimate rape” and how artificial birth control is “unnatural” and “immoral” are no joke but the video about their ridiculous quotes is pretty hilarious.

The video was produced by This is Personal to encourage people to make their “voices be heard” regarding women’s health issues.

“Legislators around the country are pushing restrictions on reproductive health at an unprecedented rate,” according to This is Personal’s site.  “So far in 2012, more than 600 restrictions on reproductive health have been introduced in the states.”

Check out Erin, Tig and the rest here.
