It’s no secret that Ellen DeGeneres loves to scare the daylights out of her guests. Glee star Jane Lynch, dressed as her Wreck-It Ralph character, was Ellen’s guest on Halloween, and the reigning queen of day time devised a way to scare poor Jane. Ellen, sporting a Sofia Vergara costume, showed the audience a photo of Jane dressed as a clown for the Out 100 photo shoot, which evolved into a conversation about how Jane is creeped out by clowns. You can pretty much guess what happened next considering Ellen’s devious side.

Later, Ellen and Jane had some fun with Ellen’s audience members playing improv.
