Not your typical story of two women falling in love against the odds Kiss Me stars Liv Mjönes as the free-spirited and out Frida while Ruth Vega Fernandez plays the more buttoned-up –and closeted—Mia, who’s engaged to marry a man. The women meet at the marriage of Mia’s father and Frida’s mother and sparks and a romance ensue. Sexy, funny and often heartrending, Kiss Me is truly one of the strongest lesbian dramas to make the film festival rounds in recent history.
