Watch: Padma Lakshmi Courts Ellen DeGeneres in the Kitchen

Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi stopped by The Ellen Show today to take a childlike DeGeneres through the steps to prepare a tasty, vegan salad… But it seemed like the culinary cutie had other, slightly less innocent, topics on her mind. 

After instructing DeGeneres to get her hands dirty mixing the lentil salad, Lakshmi tells Ellen to go ahead and lick her fingers — an instruction DeGeneres follows, to the snickers of a few keyed-in audience members. 

But the straight, married actress gets downright flirty with the gay, married comic when the two collaborate to make a batch of "Fairy Water." 

"I know you have a weakness for blondes," Lakshmi tells DeGeneres, "but you never know!"
