WATCH: Ellen and Portia Stroll Hand-in-Hand Throughout Australia

It feels as though The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been on hiatus for months while Ellen, Portia and Ellen’s mom Betty DeGeneres have been on vacation in Portia’s native Australia.

But Ellen is back to work this week, and shared this beautiful video of their first day in Australia with her viewers.

Ellen and Portia arrive in Sydney to screaming throngs of fans, and they make their way through the airport and the streets and waterways of Sydney hand-in-hand. It’s really the most amazing representation of true love that same-sex (or any) couples could hope for.
