NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR REALITY SERIES HONEY CHILD

One good thing born of the nationwide chorus of black voices, disparaging the lack of black talent among the stars of Showtime’s hit reality show The Real L Word is a show dedicated to those voices. Honey Child is a new reality series, produced by Pi Movies and Beleza.biz, documenting the lives and loves of a group of multicultural women across the nation. Each of the eight women, living in four American cities, who will be selected for the show are facing a personal, professional, spiritual or psychological challenge. The show documents each woman’s transformation as she conquers her challenge.

Ultimately, the show hopes to inspire positive transformation in the self-images of multicultural lesbians around the country, while catalyzing a
rebirth in the perception of ethnic lesbians among society at large, particularly within the black community.

The submission deadline is now August 08, 2010 vs. August 31, 2010 as originally stated, because of the large volume of submissions. The pilot
episode will begin filming in September 2010. Women, of all ethnicities, ages, and US locations, can submit to be a character on the show at
