Lady Gaga seems to be leaking all over the place! First, the “Judas” track, and now the video (which was scheduled to premiere on Thursday’s American Idol)? Maybe it’s for the best, though, because there are tons of people out there waiting for the spiritual guidance that only Madonna Gaga can provide.

Mary Magdalene, played by the iconic pop queen, leads the leather-wearing apostles to what appears to be a Latino Jesus. She follows her Jesus through Jerusalem to help save the people from illness and sin… by breaking into dance, of course!

Although nothing about this video is traditional, and conservatives will likely go berserk, it seems like just an artistic interpretation rather than a piece filled with blasphemy.

What some find blasphemous, however, is how Gaga’s latest artistic “enlightenments” resemble those of Madonna in the late 80’s, including this video. “Judas” storyline parallels that of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” in more ways than I care to explain. I will say, though, that I love how Gaga switched out the gospel choir with dancing sinners. Good call!
