This is turning out to be the divorce of the century. A Los Angeles judge declined to order Melissa Etheridge to pay more to her ex Tammy Lynn Michaels, deciding that Etheridge is already supporting Michaels and their children.

An L.A. county superior court judge on Monday declined to order Melissa to pay $25,000 to her ex, Tammy, having accepted a lawyer’s argument that Etheridge is already paying the bills for Tammy and their children.

However, Tammy has been blogging that Melissa left her penniless while she is left trying to raise their twins on no income.

Melissa’s camp had been mostly silent about the accusations, until recently, when her attorney Neal Hersh shot back at Tammy saying that Tammy is, "being well-provided for and then some, as are the children, which are Melissa’s first priority."

He further stated that Grammy and Oscar winner Melissa has been paying Tammy’s household bills and giving her $2,000 additional in funds for any other expenses.

Tammy had said her card was declined at a grocery store, which Hersh called, “a one-off situation.”

According to TMZ, “Tammy's lawyer wanted the judge to order Melissa to immediately pay 25k to his client, whom he claims is destitute. The lawyer wanted another 25k from Melissa for legal fees, but Melissa's attorney, Neal Hersh, convinced the judge Melissa was paying for everything — housing, food, schools, the works — so Tammy's claim that she can't afford to live is bogus.”

The next hearing is set for September, According to TMZ.
