Episode 5: 'Friends'
One day, Tomoe and Miyako rush the Murasame household after school to have a planning meeting for the “girls club”. Sumika’s private life is disrupted by this, and the following day they head to Ushio’s house. At Ushio’s house, Sumika is irritated by Miyako’s overbearing personality and the pranks that she plays. Somehow, Sumika and Miyako end up having a cook-off when Ushio brings out maid costumes. Sumika and Miyako, run to get the ingredients for their cook-off and start their cook-off. The cook-off ends in a dismal result since Sumika doesn't know how to cook well. Sumika tries to run away feeling that she is not girlish enough though…

Episode 6: 'A Night Together'
Ushio is caught in a dilemma when an upperclassman, Chizuka, wants to reconcile with Ushio for the way that they previously parted ways. Sumika, worried about their relationship, is advised by Tomoe to train at becoming a ditzy girl that Ushio likes, though things don’t pan out the way she wants them to. On the other hand, Ushio, not knowing what to do with Chizuka, heads over to Sumika's house instead. Sumika gets excited that Ushio has chosen her over the upperclassman, though she knows that Ushio still has feelings for the upperclassman when she hears the words “I don’t think anything of her.” Sumika, once again, experiences that she is sought after as a friend rather than a lover by Ushio.
