Premiering Jan. 30, Bestsellers is a new multi-generational dramedy series written and created by Susan Miller and directed by Tina Cesa Ward, the creative team behind the award-winning drama series Anyone But Me, about five modern professional women balancing life, career and book club.
The new series stars Alice Barden as Zoe the Entrepreneur, Guiding Light’s Mandy Bruno as Nina the Mommyblogger, The Naked Brothers Band’s Catherine Curtin as Abby the CPA, Natalie Kuhn as Taylor the Travel Consultant, and Dena Tyler as Jules the Consultant. The women manage their respective careers while battling misogyny, ageism, sexuality and motherhood.
Creator Miller tells us that one of the characters is a lesbian, although her sexuality won't be revealed until the next episode. Any guesses as to who it might be?
