Rosie and Angelina: The Near-Miss Lesbian Power Couple?

Can this possibly be true? Former talk show diva Rosie O'Donnell claimed in an interview with Howard Stern this week she once almost hooked up with the luscious Angelina Jolie. I've imagined fantasy situations between Angelina Jolie and many hot Hollywood ladies out there, but that's one pairing that makes me whimper a bit in fright.

Although Rosie O'Donnell said just last week she was done commenting about her relationship with Kelli Carpenter in the press, she proceeded to do just that in an interview with Howard Stern this week. Despite telling USA Today last week that she and Kelli are "working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say," O'Donnell spilled quite a few more words about her troubled marriage in an interview with Stern on Sirius XM radio on Monday.

O'Donnell once again confirmed she and Carpenter are having serious marital issues and "what will make everyone happiest is maybe not to live together, but continue to parent [together]." She also gave a bit of TMI by telling the shock jock that she and Kelli "have a lot of issues" but "sex wasn't one of them."

Apparently trying to market herself out to her next conquest, Rosie O'Donnell told Howard Stern she almost once hooked up with Hollywood's most gorgeous woman, Angelina Jolie. O'Donnell claims the courting between her and Jolie happened before she wed Kelli and before Angelina married Billy Bob Thornton.

According to O'Donnell, Angelina Jolie "gave me her phone number" and the two "talked on the phone two or three times... there was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through." O'Donnell didn't specify why the two never did make those dinner plans, but she did say she was a bit intimidated by Jolie. "I was a little afraid of her," O'Donnell told Stern. "She's scary in a sexual kind of way."

Speaking of odd couples, O'Donnell also added in a bit of a jab about the relationship between Oprah Winfrey and BFF Gayle King. "I don't know that she and Gayle are necessarily doing each other, but I think they are the motional equivalent" O'Donnell said. "When they did that road trip, that's as gay as it gets, and I don't mean it to be an insult either... I'm just saying, listen, if you ask me, that's the couple."
