While it seems like Armie Hammer may be getting all the press for Call Me by Your Name, the real star of the film is Timothée Chalamet. The young, 21-year-old actor truly gives a breathtaking performance in the film adaptation of André Aciman's gay-themed novel.
But did you know that before he was in CMBYN, Chalamet rapped?
A few videos have recently surfaced of the young star rapping. One is from 2013, when Chalamet would have been 17 years old. The other is from 2011, when he would have been 15.
The first video is of "Timmy T" rapping about his statistics teacher, Ms. Lawton, who he called his "favorite teacher ever." The second video is of him performing with his classmates at New York’s LaGuardia Performing Arts High School.
Chalamet, surprisingly, isn’t half bad!
