The year is 2008. Kate McKinnon is not yet a Saturday Night Live cast member, Ghostbuster, or Emmy winner. Instead, the comedian is known for her work on The Big Gay Sketch Show, a Logo TV program that ran for three seasons from 2007 - 2010, where she played such memorable roles as Fitzwilliam - a young child struggling with gender identity - and Barbara Walters. It was then that Kate sat down for an interview with her Big Gay Sketch Show fellow castmember Julie Goldman and we got the opportunity to learn just about everything there is to know about her sexual identity - from the exact percentage of her lesbianism (spoilers, it's 100%) to the importance of The X-Files in her sexual awakening. Not only is this the most delightfully lesbian interview possibly ever in existence, it's also hilarious. Of course, that should come as no surprise coming from someone so funny they won a literal Emmy for it (that's right, we're still not over it). Watch and fall even more in love right here:
Could we possibly pinpoint a best moment in this extravaganza of flawlessness? Is it the Gillian Anderson obsesh? Is it the squirming way Kate approaches any conversation about a penis? Or is it the eight hour, retainer-filled makeout session that was Kate's first kiss? Luckily, we don't have to choose, we just get to watch over and over again.

Now, eight years later, we still can't get enough of Kate McKinnon. Happy #TBT!
