"I can wear this and still like women. And men. And people who identify in other ways."

Alyson Stoner just shut down the press with just a single, epic tweet and we're living for it!

Following last week's news of her coming out as pansexual, the Step Up and Camp Rock actress took to Twitter to call out media outlets for not knowing the difference between gender identity and gender expression, as well as assumptions that her more "masculine" outfit options at past red carpet events were an indicator that she dates women.

Stoner recently opened up about her sexuality in an impassioned essay for Teen Vogue.

"I, Alyson, am attracted to men, women, and people who identify in other ways," she wrote. "I can love people of every gender identity and expression. It is the soul that captivates me. It is the love we can build and the goodness we can contribute to the world by supporting each other’s best journeys."
