Brad Pitt Wants Nothing to Do With 'Straight Pride'

The acting legend told the organizers of Boston's ridiculous "Straight Pride" parade to stop using his name and likeness.

Like most reasonable people, critically-acclaimed actor Brad Pitt wants absolutely nothing to do with the ridiculous "Straight Pride" parade that is currently being organized in Boston

According to The Hollywood Reporter, reps for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star are demanding that Boston's Straight Pride organizers Super Happy Fun America (and yes, that's really their group's name...) immediately stop using his image and his name on their website to promote their event, which is slated to take place later this year in August.

Pitt has been a proud and vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community for a while now, having donated $100,000 to the campaign to stop California's gay marriage ban Prop. 8 back in 2008, so the choice for Super Happy Fun America to make him their mascot was a weird one to begin with.

But Brad isn't Hollywood's only straight ally to call out the mockery of "Straight Pride." Earlier this week, Avengers: Endgame star and Captain America himself Chris Evans completely eviscerated the idea of a Pride parade for heteros in two amazing tweets.

Pro-tip: if even straight people want nothing to do with your straight event, you're probably doing something wrong.
