Bravo's Andy Cohen Tests Positive for COVID-19
He shared the news on Instagram.
Yesterday, Andy Cohen announced he would be bringing his show Watch What Happens Live back on air while isolated in his apartment, but only hours later, the popular personality put his plans on hold after discovering he had tested positive for COVID-19.
He shared the news on Instagram, admitting that he’s been self-quarantined for several days and hadn’t been feeling that great. After getting hold of one of the elusive novel coronavirus tests, it was confirmed that he does, in fact, have the disease. And WWHL will not be coming back to our TVs just yet.
“As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better,” Cohen wrote.
“I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”
Cohen is one of a growing number of high profile personalities who have announced they have tested positive for COVID-19. Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Daniel Dae Kim, and Bachelor star Colton Underwood are among those who have shared their positive diagnoses thus far.
