Lil Nas X Exposes Rapper 6ix9ine's DMs Following Homophobic Dig

The most epic 'this you?' 2021 has seen yet!

In classic Lil Nas X fashion, our favorite openly gay, Grammy-winning artist has blasted rapper 6ix9ine after he made a homophobic joke at X's expense.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, who was released from prison last year after serving over a year-in-a-half for racketeering charges, made the dig on Instagram. DJ Akademiks posted a news update with the headline "China makes COVID-19 anal swabs mandatory for foreigners." For whatever reason, 6ix9ine commented, "Lil Nas X has entered the chat" with a skull emoji, implying X would enjoy the procedure because of his sexuality.

X clapped back on TikTok in the best way. He screenshot DMs from 6ix9ine that read "gonna be in your city soon what you doin lol?" with a smiley face and heart emojis. The "Old Town Road" rapper dances erratically behind the images to his new song "Call Me by Your Name."

Oop.

Was 6ix9ine reaching out to X to hang out, record some music, or perhaps Netflix and chill? The intention is unclear but the internet is dragging the rapper regardless.

Take note, homophobes. Leave Lil Nas X's name out of your mouth!
