'Heterosexuality Can Be Cured' Reads Perfect Coachella Billboard

Omar Apollo welcomed the LGBTQs in the best way.

The drive into Indio, California for the Coachella Music Festival can be a bit tedious, but the billboards that participating artists put up along the I-10 highway always make your arrival into the city always just a little bit sweeter. But if there was an award for Best Coachella Billboard 2022, singer-songwriter Omar Apollo won by a mile.

If you're coming from Los Angeles, you'd spot the billboard on your right-hand side around the Palm Springs area. "HETEROSEXUALITY CAN BE CURED," reads the yellow billboard in bold red text. "JUST WATCH OMAR APOLLO ON FRIDAY."

Finally, the scientific advancements the world needs!

Apollo is an indie-R&B artist performing at the music festival for the first time. The out musician just dropped his debut album last week and as we outlined in our review, it is achingly gorgeous. "The Mexican-American singer-songwriter croons about lost loves, longing, and heartbreak in one moment, sometimes in both English and Spanish, then starts to flex about money and boys."

Catch his set at Coachella Music Festival or live on YouTube this Friday at 5:05pm PT.
