Coachella season is upon us, and the gays are winning once again.

The lineup is stacked with LGBTQ+ artists, including but not limited to MUNA, Christine and the Queens, Becky G, 070 Shake, Ashnikko, boygenius, Doechii, Ethel Cain, Willow Smith, Kaytranada, Yungblud, Remi Wolf, Yaeji, and headliner Frank Ocean. Bad Bunny, Charli XCX, Blackpink, Calvin Harris, and Rosalia also rocked the weekend.

So here are our picks for the 8 gayest moments of Coachella weekend 1! With weekend 2 on the way, we can only hope it'll be even gayer.

As if Charli XCX's set wasn't gay enough on its own, Blue Neighborhood singer Troye Sivan joined her on stage for an electric performance of their beloved song, "1999".

Frank Ocean's set was... chaotic to say the least, but we did get this amazing clip of a security guard krumping during his set. Ocean's performance also marked the first out queer man to headline the festival.

Omar Apollo returned to Coachella for the second year in a row to join Kali Uchis on stage.

During her set, Belgian pop star Angèle waved a rainbow flag onstage.

Bad Bunny flashed the rainbow on stage during his set and for that we say, GAY RIGHTS!

Everything about Blackpink's set was gay, no I will not elaborate further.

And Phoebe Bridgers' led band boygenius gave a shout out to LGBTQ+ rights during their set. “Trans lives matter, trans kids matter. We’re gonna fight it and we’re gonna win," the said on stage. "And abortion rocks, and fuck Ron DeSantis.”

boygenius also joined MUNA on stage to perform "Silk Chiffon" together.

We love to see the gays fuse their powers together for the greater good!

The jury's still out on if Frank Ocean will improve his set for weekend 2 crowd, but the gays will be loud and proud regardless! Who are you excited to see?
