As a result, fans and the media speculated about which actors might replace Cavill as the next Superman in the DCEU. Ultimately, another dreamboat was cast, and a new mega gay crush was launched when David Corenswet donned the oh-so-fitted suit.
Since then, Cavill has stayed booked and genetically blessed with roles in Argylle, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Deadpool & Wolverine, and next up, he’s starring in Highlander. While there may only be one Highlander, we have room in our hearts for two Supermen.
