Eight queens are left standing on ‘All Stars 8’!

Paramount+
Though she had been dropping hints for a few episodes, no one believed that Heidi N Closet would actually quit RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8. The reasons behind her quitting were also very upsetting given that it was a completely he-said-she-said situation. Not having N Closet in the werk room is a huge loss for this season.
But the show must go on, and All Stars 8 did deliver a spectacular Snatch Game with performances from Jimbo, Alexis Michelle, and Jaymes Mansfield. In turn, Kahanna Montrese and Jessica Wild fell in the bottom two, but Mama Ru decided to suspend eliminations given that N Closet had just quit the show.

7. Kahanna Montrese
Despite winning the first maxi challenge of the season, Kahanna Montrese has now landed in the bottom twice. She also didn’t have stellar performances in episodes where she was deemed safe. Unless she completely surprises us in episode six, there’s a strong case as to why she might be the next eliminated queen of All Stars 8.
6. LaLa Ri
We had very high hopes for LaLa Ri when All Stars 8 first started. But five episodes in, Ms. Ri has yet to really impress the judges this season. She’s been deemed “safe” basically all season long, and hasn’t gotten close to winning a maxi challenge as of yet. Considering that we’re basically halfway through the season now, things aren’t looking great for the Miss Congeniality of season 13.
5. Kandy Muse
Though she did have a couple of “high” placements, Kandy Muse has also been stuck in the “safe” zone throughout All Stars 8. As the runner-up of season 13, the fans and the judges had high expectations for Muse. Unfortunately, we’re all still waiting to see if she’s going to turn things around this season.
4. Alexis Michelle
Alexis Michelle had an incredible performance in the Snatch Game, which was important for her to bounce back from her bottom placement in episode four. Much like Ri and Muse, Michelle is still struggling to win a maxi challenge on All Stars 8, but it does seem like she’s well-positioned to secure a win in the near future.
3. Jaymes Mansfield
The judges have been loving Jaymes Mansfield this season, giving her a “high” placement in three of the five first episodes. She did land in the bottom during episode four, but that dip in performance didn’t seem to affect her overall track record so far. In fact, she was one of the best performers in the Snatch Game, so she’s been able to turn things around rather quickly.
2. Jessica Wild
The Snatch Game was the first big failure for Jessica Wild on All Stars 8. Otherwise, this queen has been killing it all season long and getting high praise from the judges. Even in episode five, despite her weak Snatch Game, Wild got a lot of positive critiques for her runway look and reveal, making it clear that this bottom placement wasn’t going to affect her too much… at least not yet, from what we can see.
1. Jimbo
Jimbo has now won three maxi challenges on All Stars 8. She was already the frontrunner of the season, and she has now extended that lead even further. With so many queens who haven’t even won a single maxi challenge yet, there’s a lot of catching up to do if they want to beat Jimbo in this competition. Otherwise, one has to wonder if anyone would actually go through with picking Jimbo’s lipstick if she does land in the bottom in the near future.
