'Drag Race All Stars 8' Episode 2 Power Ranking
The competition is on for ‘All Stars 8’!
Paramount+
Though we’re only two episodes in so far, the competition of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 is already starting to take shape. Certain queens are clearly impressing the judges, while others are not necessarily standing out so far.
With the Fame Games twist, the fans will have the chance to vote for which eliminated queen should win a cash prize of $50,000 at the end of the season. With that said, it’s clear that these queens are vying for the actual All Stars 8 crown and the grand prize of $200,000.
Based on their track records from these first two episodes, it’s time to rank these queens based on how well they’ve done in the competition so far.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 airs Fridays on Paramount+.
10. Darienne Lake
“Dip into some cool waters with @dariennelake on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💋”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004056
Lots of Drag Race fans were incredibly excited that Darienne Lake was finally cast on an All Stars season, but the judges didn’t necessarily live for this queen in the first episode. Lake got negatively critiqued for her Billie Eilish look and her mainstage performance of “Money, Success, Fame, Glamour,” landing her in the bottom two on the grand premiere. Though she survived getting the chop and was deemed safe in episode two, Lake is still navigating uneasy waters in this competition.
9. Mrs. Kasha Davis
“There's always time for Mrs. @KashaDavis! 💜

Our Season 7 workhorse queen joins #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💋”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004256
Mrs. Kasha Davis was deemed safe in these first two episodes, and it doesn’t seem like the judges are particularly impressed by her so far. Though she is definitely bringing an elevated drag aesthetic to All Stars 8 and was also hilarious in the second episode’s comedy challenge, the judges don’t seem to be impressed so far.
8. Kandy Muse
“From the hood to Hollywood! ⭐️

@TheKandyMuse is BACK when #AllStars8 starts streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💅”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004210
The judges are obsessed with Kandy Muse, and so are we! Shockingly, though, this queen has yet to land in the top or in the bottom on All Stars 8. She’s only been in the safe zone thus far, so we’re still waiting for the Muse to start her engines for the judges.
7. Jessica Wild
“¡Escandalo! 💥

@JessicaWild88 is bringing the heat to #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 👠”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004123
Jessica Wild has already made a great impression on All Stars 8, particularly as a queen who came all the way from season two of Drag Race. She’s another queen who has only been deemed safe at this point, but the general consensus is that she’s standing out and doing well in the competition.
6. LaLa Ri
“Living her congenial fantasy! 🤩

Get into the @MissLaLaRi experience when #AllStars8 starts streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! ✨”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004270
Much like Jessica Wild, LaLa Ri also appears to be standing out on All Stars 8. She hasn’t won any challenges yet, but she did land a “high” placement in the first episode. Coming into this season, Ri’s biggest obstacle was to redeem her fashion… and she’s already managed to do that in just two episodes.
5. Alexis Michelle
“She's a good girl! 😌🎤

@AlexisLives returns on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! ⭐️”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004039
Alexis Michelle had a “high” placement at the premiere and delivered a funny performance in episode two. Though she still hasn’t won any challenges, Michelle seems to be a pretty strong contender in this competition as we keep moving forward.
4. Heidi N Closet
“The gap is BACK! 😍

@HeidiNCloset returns for #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💕”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004082
Heidi N Closet already proved on All Stars 8 that her drag aesthetic is incredibly elevated. In the second episode, Closet landed a “high” placement with her hilarious performance in the comedy challenge. Overall, the judges are still living for this queen just like they did in season 12, which puts her in a great spot on the show.
3. Kahanna Montrese
“She's giving us a SHOW, girl! 🔥

@Kahannamontrese is ready to roll the dice on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 🎲✨”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004172
Even though Kahanna Montrese landed in the bottom during episode two, she did win the first maxi challenge of the season. Given that only two queens have won maxi challenges so far, Montrese’s place in this competition is still very much secure due to that challenge win.
2. Jaymes Mansfield
“Did you just say wig? 💇🏼‍♀️

Blonde bombshell @jaymesmansfield joins #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus 🎀”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004108
Jaymes Mansfield had a “high” placement on both of these two episodes, receiving very high praise from the panels of judges. This queen still hasn’t won a maxi challenge, but it seems pretty evident that she’s on her way to win an episode given the momentum she’s been building up thus far.
1. Jimbo
“Oh wow! It's @jimbodragclown's special day! 🗣️

Don't miss her on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💓”— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaul's Drag Race) 1682004159
Two episodes into All Stars 8, the judges are absolutely obsessed with Jimbo. Besides winning a maxi challenge in the second episode, the general impression is that Jimbo is a frontrunner and a force to be reckoned with in this competition (except when it comes to lip syncing!)
