Taylor Swift is reemerging from the shadows tomorrow night with the first single of off her new, upcoming album Reputation

Swift has been teasing her new music all week on social media with cryptic snake imagery. This, of course, is a reference to her beef with Kim and Kanye West last summer in which the power couple exposed Swift for lying about being a part of Kanye's song "Famous." The video evidence launched the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty, which went on to trend globally. Kim then tweeted:

Swift's Instagram and Twitter pages were quickly filled with thousands of users posting snake emojis.

It now looks like Taylor wants to reclaim the snake imagery for herself, and RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 2 Winner Alaska Thunderfuck has a few words of advice for the pop star.

Alaska came under fire in All-Stars 2 for eliminating several fan-favorite competitors, throwing a temper tantrum, and offering another contestant $10,000 to save her. Her social media was bombarded with snake emojis following the episode.

Instead of playing the victim, Alaska decided to own it. "You have to take the tragic and turn it to magic," she told The Fader. "People used to call me a horse face. Then I adopted the horse as my spirit animal. Something that brought me pain and anguish ended up bringing me strength and joy. So when I got bombarded with snakes I got a new spirit animal. Lucky me."

Alaska began to incorporate snakes into her drag looks and videos. "It's really all you can do. Go through the pain and embarrassment until you get to the other side. Otherwise you spend your life hiding from it, constantly reminded of it whenever you see it, and going to pieces over it time and again. If people are laughing at you, you might as well be in on the joke."

She's not surprised Taylor Swift is taking a similar narrative-flipping route. "Straight people love to steal from drag queens. It happens all the time. But luckily I love to inspire young artists.

"The truth is, people who have longevity are able to be aware of their public perception and take it and use it and make it work for them. So bravo to Taylor. I never stopped liking her and I still do. But if she thinks she's the Queen of Snakes, she is terribly mistaken."
