The day after the California supreme court's decision to uphold Prop. 8, the anti-gay marriage ballot that banned same-sex marriage in the state, members of the LGBT community and their straight allies rallied outside The Beverly Hilton while President Obama was inside at the Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Los Angeles, CA. Among rally attendees were Queer as Folk star Hal Sparks, marriage activist Robin Tyler and her wife Diane Olson, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" activist Lt. Dan Choi and Courage Campaign founder Rick Jacobs.
