Last night, the gays, girlies, and a few of our fave drag icons headed to Los Globos in Los Angeles to celebrate Netflix’s upcoming Wednesday series in an extra ooky, spooky drag event called WednesGay.

Ts Madison took the stage as the master of ceremonies as drag stars Gottmik, Violet Chachki, Mo Heart, and Crystal Methyd all performed live at the event. The performers were all serving up their gothy best to an enthusiastic crowd packed with celebs including Chris Colfer, Thomas Dekker, Brandon Kyle Goodman, and Jennie Garth. Everyone was a family for the night.

The event was a perfect warm-up for the upcoming series which, like the original Addams Family itself, is a celebration of all things queer and unusual.

The premiere of Wednesday is just weeks away and the series follows the beloved eldest Addams child on a new adventure when she’s sent away to the Nevermore Academy, her parent’s alma mater, after being expelled yet again from a “normal” school. Once she arrives, Wednesday faces two dueling challenges: mastering her emerging psychic abilities and solving a supernatural mystery that her parents were also once embroiled in 25 years prior. Oh, and then there’s the little issue of the killing spree that’s taking over a local town.

Directed and executive produced by master of the macabre Tim Burton, Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Gwendoline Christie (Principal Larissa Weems), Riki Lindhome (Dr. Valerie Kinbott), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), Percy Hynes White (Xavier Thorpe), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), and Christina Ricci (Marilyn Thornhill).

Wednesday is set to premiere on November 23 on Netflix. In the meantime, you can check out the WednesGay festivities below.
