The couple first met on the set of G Flip’s “Get Me Outta Here” music video back in 2021, around the time Stause split from her Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim. Rumors of their relationship hit the internet a few months later, and Stause confirmed they had recently begun dating during the reality show’s reunion episode in May 2022.

“We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world,” G Flip said on the PEOPLE Every Day podcast. “We find ourselves so similar sometimes.”

The two have seemed consistently happy after unexpectedly finding love with one another, and the congratulations from friends on Stause’s Instagram post just goes to show everyone is rooting for the success of this next chapter in their lives.

“I’ve been waiting for this post all day!!!” wrote Selling Sunset co-star Emma Hernan. “Watching your love is like watching the best love story in the world!”

“I’m not crying, I’m not crying, I’m not crying!! I love you guys so much,” added Chelsea Lazkani.

Even Stause’s reality star ex only had congratulations for the happy couple, writing, “I am SO excited for this!! You and G are the most inspiring couple and the affection between you both is so pure. I love you two tons and am so lucky to have you both in my life.”

And G Flip had a message for their wife as well: “My darling, I adore and love you with all my heart. These are the sweetest words and this is the cutest little edit. You make me so happy.”
