“And I’m tired, so tired of it adding up.”

On the heels of releasing their brand-new biographical TV series High School on Amazon Freevee, Tegan and Sara are dropping a brand-new single titled “Smoking Weed Alone.” This latest song is building even more momentum for the duo’s 10th studio album, Crybaby, which is scheduled to come out this Friday, October 21.

“Smoking Weed Alone” is a song about reflecting on one’s life and assessing all of the things that may or may not be your fault and your choice. It’s also a song about potentially spiraling out of control but ultimately choosing some alone time to gather yourself back into control.

Besides this latest song, Tegan and Sara’s forthcoming Crybaby album will include singles like “I Can’t Grow Up,” “F*cking Up What Matters,” “Yellow,” and “Faded Like a Feeling.” The rest of the tracklist features songs such as “All I Wanted,” “I’m Okay,” “Pretty Sh*tty Time,” “Under My Control,” “This Ain’t Going Well,” “Sometimes I See Stars,” and “Whatever That Was.”

Tegan and Sara’s biggest career hits include “Closer,” “Where Does the Good Go,” “Walking With a Ghost, and “Everything Is AWESOME!!!” Now that they also have a best-selling memoir and a TV show about their lives, the twin sisters are expanding their pop culture presence in an even bigger way.

We’ll always be rooting for Tegan and Sara!

High School airs Fridays on Amazon Freevee.
