Fans of Aziraphale and Crowley are hoping something romantic this way comes...

Good Omens star Michael Sheen is giving shippers hope to cling to for the upcoming second season.

Season one of the Prime Video series was based on the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and featured a team up between an angel and a demon—Aziraphale (Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant)—to stop the impending apocalypse. The rapport between the two was electric, and fans shipped the pairing immediately.

The second season will go beyond the source material, which has led to additional hope that showrunners Gaiman and Douglas Mackinnon will lean into the chemistry between the two leads.

Sheen recently responded to a fan question about the upcoming episodes in a way that added to that hope. When asked for a single word to describe season two, he cheekily responded with “MAGICSHOWGIRLZOMBIBLEAUSTENDERISTHEGRAVEROMANTIRACULOUS.”

There was a lot to pull out of the reply, with one of the takeaways being that the actor sort of wrote “romantic” in the jumble—setting off a chain of overanalyzing and excited freaking out at the possibilities.

The new season premieres on Prime Video July 28th, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the creative team has in store for this ever-squabbling couple (of pals).
