Early this morning, Lady Gaga marched to Trump Tower in New York City to protest President-elect Donald Trump's shocking win. Carrying a sign that read "Love trumps hate." the "Perfect Illusion" singer perched proudly on the running boards of an NYC Sanitation truck.
She shared a photo of her protest on Instagram, adding the caption, "I want to live in a#CountryOfKindness #LoveTrumpsHate He divided us so carelessly. Let's take care now of each other."The post already has more than 234k likes and 5k comments.
Gaga passionately supported Clinton throughout her campaign and even performed a duet with Jon Bon Jovi at a rally the evening before the election.
In the wake of Clinton's loss, Gaga changed her Twitter name to #CountryofKindness and tweeted, "In a room full of hope, we will be heard. @deray #blacklivesmatter Stand up for kindness, equality, and love. Nothing will stop us."
