Lady Gaga Had to Cancel Her Rock in Rio Performance After Being Hospitalized
We wish you a speeedy recovery, Gaga!
Yesterday, Lady Gaga tweeted that she was taken to the hospital for severe pain.
\u201cI was taken to the hospital its not simply hip pain or wear & tear from tour, I'm in severe pain. I'm in good hands w/ the very best doctors\u201d— Lady Gaga (@Lady Gaga) 1505415729
Unfortunately, because of this, she had to cancel her scheduled performance in Brazil at the Rock in Rio music festival. She was incredibly apologetic, posting on Twitter:
\u201cBrazil, I'm devastated that I'm not well enough 2 come to Rock In Rio. I would do anything 4 u but I have to take care of my body right now.\u201d— Lady Gaga (@Lady Gaga) 1505413570

This is likely due to her Fibromyalgia, which she was tweeting about just a couple days before.

As WebMD explains, "Fibromyalgia syndrome affects the muscles and soft tissue. Symptoms include chronic muscle pain, fatigue, sleep problems, and painful tender points or trigger points, which can be relieved through medications, lifestyle changes and stress management."
