10 Questions You Should Ask the One Who Broke Your Heart

If you haven't been dumped, then you’re doing something wrong. Everyone needs to get dumped at some point in their lives. Getting dumped not only teaches us that life can, must, and will go on after heartbreak, but also reveals what matters most in relationships. What do we get out of relationships? What do we need out of relationships? How much do we give? How much do we take?

When the man or woman of your dreams breaks your heart, you can’t help but have a few questions for him/her. Questions you wish you could ask.

1. At what point did you realize you no longer have the same feelings for me? 

2. How was the sex? Really. 

3. Is it because of where we are in life now? Do you think we could have worked in the future? 

4. Do you really think we can be friends? 

5. How long have you wanted to break up? 

6. Was it hard not to cheat on me? 

7. Did you ever think of someone else during sex? 

8. Would an open relationship ever have worked? 

9. Is there anything I could have done differently? 

10. Do you know how much I truly cared for you? I would have done anything to make this work.
