Advocate.com has a moving gallery of images captured by Photographer by Darren Weimert from the historic New York Pride weekend, marking the anniversary of the iconic Stonewall rebellion-- which just so happened to immediately follow the state legislature's vote to legalize marriage equality on Friday.

The photos Weimert captured of two tutu-wearing proud women in front of the Empire State building are worth a thousand, happy, long over-due words.
