Tina Fey to Host Mean Girls Live Viewing Party...You Know the Date
Don't even ask us what day it is.
“On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was.”
An iconic line that requires no explanation — unless you’re one of the few who haven’t had the opportunity to see the permanent classic Lindsay Lohan film Mean Girls. And regardless of whether you fall into the category of those who have never seen the film or those who can quote every line (no, there is no in between), you’re about to have a brilliant opportunity for viewing it. After all, October 3rd is coming.

Tina Fey, who wrote the film and starred as the definitely-not-a-drug-dealing teacher Ms. Norbury, will be hosting a Facebook Live viewing party on that fateful fall date alongside Busy Phillips.
The online party will start at 8:00pm ET and will take place on the Facebook page for Mean Girls on Broadway. In addition to Fey and Phillips’ undoubtedly priceless commentary on the quotable classic, there will be giveaways of some sort, and who doesn’t like free stuff alongside clever quips?
Mean Girls the movie was a totally one time thing and absolutely definitely did not ever have any regrettable sequels, but the musical adaptation has been thriving on Broadway for the past year and a half, creating a small pocket of the world where every day is October 3rd.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the beloved film. And 15 years to the day since Jonathan Bennett’s dreamy Aaron Samuels asked Cady Herron what day it was. And roughly 15 years since we’ve all been able to follow Lindsay Lohan’s career without cringing and wishing things had turned out better for her.
But October 3rd’s Facebook Live viewing party will take us all back to a better time, so see you there! It’s gonna be so fetch.
